Chrome Finish Specification

The bright chrome electroplating on the Silver Large Folding Clasp Hinge provides a reflective finish with greater corrosion resistance than the black electrophoretic coating, achieving 96-hour salt-spray performance. This makes it suitable for coastal or humid gallery environments.

Compared to the black version, the silver variant is 1mm narrower (31mm vs 32mm) and has a shorter lower section (15mm vs 19mm), resulting in slightly lower snap grip force. Compensate by using one additional screw through the slot for maximum security.
